Citizen Police Academy Registration Now Open

The Elmhurst Police Department is offering its Citizen’s Academy program again this spring. The twelve-week program will be held on Wednesday evenings starting March 27th through June 12th from 6:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. at the Elmhurst police station. The program is open to anyone 21 years or older who lives or works in Elmhurst. Participants will have a better understanding of police procedures, equipment, responsibilities, demands, and the laws governing the actions of police officers at the end of the program.
